FRANKLIN, TENNESSEE (February 11th, 2021) – PlaySight Interactive, the leading global sports video technology platform, is pleased today to announce a new technology partnership with Tennessee Performance Volleyball (TPV). Founded in 2017 and led by Dan Dierking, TPV focuses on fostering a family environment which allows for the development of both individual and team skills, stewarding their athletes to become the best version of themselves, both on and off the volleyball court.

With this new partnership, PlaySight is excited to grow its presence in the sport of volleyball. Hundreds of athletic programs across professional, collegiate and high school sports have been training and playing with PlaySight video technology since 2014, including Belmont University, the University of Tennessee and Ensworth School.

TPV is excited to maximize PlaySight as a tool to increase their players’ visibility and preparation for opportunities to compete at the college level. “One of our main goals as a club is to provide our athletes with the tools that they will need to be successful at the next level of their career. Whether that is high school or college, we wanted to enhance the development of our athletes by allowing them to see the breakdown of their play and performance in addition to the daily coaching and instruction that they were receiving,” said Justin Wells, TPV’s Recruiting Coordinator.

“Additionally, we are a College Prep program, and athletes need to be prepared and familiar with film breakdown and analysis when they take their game to the next level.”

TPV is looking to PlaySight to power their automated live stream broadcasts as well. “We know that this will be a great asset for recruiting and will allow college coaches to watch potential recruits train and compete, but it will also serve a great purpose for family members or anyone who wants to watch our events and tournaments. This amazing tool will attract great volleyball programs for elite competition at our events and for our athletes,” said Dan Dierking, TPV’s Director.

“We are proud to partner with Tennessee Performance Volleyball and their 11 court facility,” said PlaySight’s Matt Gibson. “Our video technology is the perfect fit for volleyball clubs when it comes to live streaming, recruiting and coaching. Their coaches and athletes will have access to the same tools used down the road at Belmont University, and across the state and country with leading teams, academies and sports organizations.”
