We first debuted our SmartTracker technology last year, and since then we have expanded its coverage of sports from just basketball to soccer, futsal, ice hockey & more.
SmartTracker technology uses proprietary image processing algorithms, machine learning and artificial intelligence to analyze, track and record sports action in real time. Our SmartTracker software also gets smarter with every pass, goal, shot and save – learning what is important to record and focus on (zooming in and out) in each specific sport.
To create a view that both fully captures a basketball court/hockey rink/soccer pitch panoramically while also following play, we built a system that stitches multiple lenses together (more for soccer, since the field is larger).
