Tel Aviv, Israel (November 6th, 2019) PlaySight’s new GO technology platform was first launched this past summer, and several high school and collegiate athletic departments have been using it already this fall sports season to broadcast, live stream, and capture video from more sports, events and venues than ever before. PlaySight GO removes the need for infrastructure and also allows schools to now share technology across sports and venues.

“PlaySight GO immediately increased the quality of our outdoor broadcast, allowing us to shoot with a higher quality camera, better bandwidth and overall ease of setup and usage.”

With GO, PlaySight is now bringing its Smart AI and connected camera platform to schools and facilities of all sizes, providing a professional broadcast experience as well as efficient video capture for coaches and student-athletes at high schools, junior colleges, smaller colleges as well as Power 5 programs. Each PlaySight GO unit enables video capture and recording from practices, games and special events without the need for cabling, network or expensive infrastructure, and powered by LiveU’s Solo technology.

Emmanuel College of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) added a PlaySight GO unit ahead of its full SmartCourt installation later this fall. The Saints have been using their GO to capture video and live stream from a variety of sports and venues already. “We’ve been thrilled with the overall quality of the GO. The mobile system immediately increased the quality of our outdoor broadcast, allowing us to shoot with a higher quality camera, better bandwidth and overall ease of setup and usage,” said Sports Information Director Dan Campagna.

“Our coaches love how easy it is to use and the ability to break down their film immediately. It’s made everyone’s post-game routine easier and the final product is better. Knowing what the mobile system can do, we can’t wait to work with PlaySight with our indoor setup later this season.”
