Ramsey, NJ (October 11, 2019) – Don Bosco Preparatory School is set to become the latest prep school to add PlaySight’s Smart AI and connected camera sports video technology to its athletic facilities and campus. The Ironmen coaches and student-athletes will soon benefit from pro-level video and performance tools, and all Don Bosco students, parents and alumni will be able to tune in and follow the school’s athletics with live streaming, automated broadcast production and on demand video, powered by PlaySight’s OTT sports network. Don Bosco joins leading high school programs ‘powered by PlaySight’ across the United States, including Woodberry Forest School, Santa Margarita, Brewster Academy, Trinity-Pawling and Choate Rosemary Hall.

“PlaySight allows college coaches from all over the country to check in on our Don Bosco players while they are playing.”

Mike Rooney, Don Bosco’s Head Baseball coach, is excited for the arrival of PlaySight technology to campus. “PlaySight will allow our players and coaches to have everything that they need, including live streaming, video player evaluation, player development and for the college recruiting process. PlaySight’s video platform allows us to create a library of at bats and innings pitched so our program can truly become a leader in player development.”

Continuing with college recruiting, Rooney shared what PlaySight can do to help its students reach the next level. “From a college recruiting perspective, I see PlaySight as invaluable. Being in the Northeast, college coaches sometimes struggle to find the time during the high school season to get on campus for recruitment purposes. PlaySight allows college coaches from all over the country to check in on our Don Bosco players while they are playing.”
