PlaySight Interactive is excited to announce a new partnership with the Texas Legends, the G League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks.

Today, PlaySight Interactive is excited to announce a new partnership with the Texas Legends, the G League affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks. The Legends will be installing PlaySight’s SmartCourt technology at their training facility. This is the same technology used by several NBA teams, including the Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors and Dallas Mavericks, and leading NCAA programs, including Wake Forest, the University of North Carolina and the University of Oklahoma.

PlaySight’s technology will enable the Legends players and coaches to practice more efficiently with real-time and after-action multi-angle video and integration to statistics platforms. Additionally, Mavericks and Legends management will be able to view practices remotely. The Legends are the second G League team to add PlaySight technology, joining Golden State’s affiliate in Santa Cruz, California.

Texas Legends President and General Manager, Malcolm Farmer:

“We are excited about the partnership with PlaySight. The innovative mindset behind this company is exactly what we’re looking for and we are excited to put their product to work to better help us develop our players and win games.”

PlaySight’s mission is to connect the next generation of athletes, and in order to build the very best technology, the company looks to the elite level of the sport – the NBA and the G League – to validate, improve and innovate its offering to athletes and coaches.

PlaySight CEO, Chen Shachar:

“We have had a great partnership with Dallas and are excited to expand our connection to the organization with the Texas Legends. Our technology is a great fit for the G League – we have affordable product offerings that will enable the coaches to capture video and data much more efficiently, and in turn help their athletes get to the next level – in this case, the NBA.”

The Legends are also known as being innovative off the court with their unwavering focus on community and grassroots development.

PlaySight Regional Sales Manager – Texas/Oklahoma, Mark Slaughter:

“The Legends are very respected in the Texas community and we are excited to help them grow and promote the sport of basketball in the community.”

The Legends 2018-2019 season begins on Saturday, November 3rd. For more information on the Legends and tickets, visit https://texas.gleague.nba.com/ .
