Kent, Connecticut (July 18th, 2019) – PlaySight’s Smart sports technology is coming to the Kent School this summer, as the Lions become the latest New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) program to add PlaySight’s video platform to its home campus. Kent School coaches and student-athletes will soon benefit from PlaySight’s pro-level video and performance tools, and the school’s student body, family, parents and alumni will be able to tune in and follow the Lions through PlaySight’s live streaming and automated production capabilities. Kent School joins a number of other NEPSAC programs with PlaySight, including the Pomfret School, Trinity-Pawling, Brewster Academy, Choate Rosemary Hall and the Hotchkiss School.

“Athletics are an integral part of the Kent experience and I’m excited for our partnership with PlaySight. I am hopeful that the video technology will help the coaches and players during practices,” said Kent School Athletic Director Cortney Duncan. “Being able to watch real-time video feedback can be a tremendous coaching tool for our athletes. I look forward to live streaming even more contests for our parent base and know it will help build an even stronger connection to Kent for our alumni.”

“Working with the NEPSAC and its schools continues to be a focus for us,” said PlaySight Sales Director Erik Gormley. “We are always looking for ways to improve and innovate our technology offering to best fit the needs of NEPSAC student-athletes, parents, coaches, directors, parents and alumni. While our technology was first built to serve the needs of today’s athlete, we are also helping these schools to provide value to their community through live streaming, automated production and enhanced marketing and video opportunities.”
