With over 30-plus years of dedicated service to the global Padel community, Bill Stamile has played a pivotal role in promoting and advancing the sport on an international scale. He first became involved in the International Padel scene in 1993 by successfully securing Canada’s affiliation with the International Padel Federation. Since then, he has continually showcased his passion and expertise, earning a well-deserved spot on the IPF board of directors in 2006.

Throughout his tenure on the IPF board of directors, Bill Stamile has held various exciting roles and duties. As the only bi-lingual board member proficient in both Spanish and English, he was responsible for official translations of all major documents and communications within the organization. Additionally, as Vice-president responsible for new memberships, he played a vital role in aiding and assisting individuals from around the world in their efforts to introduce Padel in their respective countries.
Bill Stamile was also directly responsible for meeting membership requirements and conditions to join the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF). Furthermore, he acted as a supervisor in several world junior and regular world padel championship events, reporting back to the board with comprehensive summaries of the week’s events.
Bill Stamile’s active involvement in various files and projects involving playing rules and regulations, amendments to IPF bylaws, and fundraising plans will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the partnership with PlaySight Technologies, fostering innovation and progress within the Padel community.
