Hoosac, New York (June 17th, 2019) – PlaySight’s Smart sports technology is coming to the Hoosac School this summer, as the Owls become the latest New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) program to add PlaySight. The school’s coaches and student-athletes will soon benefit from PlaySight’s pro-level video and performance tools, and the school’s student body, family, parents and alumni will be able to follow along with live streaming and automated production broadcasts. Pomfret joins a number of other NEPSAC programs with PlaySight, including Trinity-Pawling, Brewster Academy, Choate Rosemary Hall, Pomfret School and the Hotchkiss School.
Dean S. Foster, Hoosac School Headmaster:
“When you look at the caliber of competition that exists in prep school sports, you realize that you have to bring every advantage to your players. Real-time critique allows our coaches to develop our players in an instant, having the files stored allows us to show them that growth over the course of the season.”
“PlaySight will soon not be a luxury, but a necessity for top teams.”
PlaySight Director Erik Gormley:
“We look forward to bringing our technology to the Hoosac School this summer. Our growing number of NEPSAC institution partners are getting an edge with our Smart sports platform – from helping their student-athletes to perform better and position themselves for collegiate athletics, to giving their coaches tools previously only available to pro coaches, to enabling live streaming and on demand game video for parents, friends, fans and program alumni.”
“It’s rewarding to see our product continually validated by the prep school market.”
